As your neighbor at the Waterfront, I am taking the liberty of sending you this attachment, a newsletter from SICE, Sarasota Italian Cultural Events, a club, of which I am a member, whose objective is of promoting the Italian heritage in culture, art and history. The club is run by dedicated professionals who volunteer to plan and organize the diverse events whose main focus, for the 2019-20202 season, is Venice.

Sarasota is the only city in the world that has produced every one of Verdi's works. The completion of the Verdi Cycle has made the Sarasota Opera the only company in the world to have performed all of Verdi’s music!
In 1989 Sarasota Opera began The Verdi Cycle—a unique undertaking to perform the complete works of Giuseppe Verdi. It was completed in 2016. The Sarasota Opera continues to produce Verdi's works.

An Operatic Milestone—28 Years in the Making
In 1989 Sarasota Opera began The Verdi Cycle—a unique undertaking to perform the complete works of Giuseppe Verdi.
The 2016 Winter Opera Festival marked the grand finale of this extraordinary journey with new productions of Aida and The Battle of Legnano, with the final week devoted exclusively to the Italian master, including two concerts of his music, talks, panel discussions, and other special events.
The completion of the Cycle has made the Sarasota Opera the only company in the world to have performed all of Verdi’s music!
